An application has been submitted featuring hundreds of student accommodation units within a pair of buildings in Loughborough. Fusion Students has brought forward proposals to redevelop a site situated between Limehurst Avenue and the Grand Union Canal Basin. They would be replaced by two blocks containing 525 units, including en-suites, social studios, studios, twodios, one-beds and duplexes.

A residential complex consisting of a multi-family house and three village bungalows in a central location is to be built in Schellweiler by the end of 2024. Patrick Buch and Kerstin Rudat, managing directors of Kair GmbH, presented the "Wohnpark am Weiher" project. 17 apartments with an area of 50 to 65 square meters are designed as barrier-free and suitable for seniors.

Avanath Capital Management purchased Rivers Senior, a 120-unit affordable senior housing development for $19 million. The acquisition brings Avanath's portfolio to a total of 13 assets in the Greater Sacramento area and 19 in Northern California. The community was 98 percent occupied at the time of sale.

The trigger for new construction and reconstruction was the legal requirement to equip nursing facilities exclusively with single-bed rooms. After the reconstruction of the existing building, 45 single rooms will be offered on one level. 18 apartments for seniors are being built on the upper floors of the existing building. The reconstruction could be completed in the summer of 2024.
Germany, Stuttgart: Winning design envisages 180 apartments on the eastern part of the site

For some time now, a new development with apartments and commercial space has been planned on the eastern site in Stuttgart-Ost. The architectural competition organised by Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB) has now been won by Fink+Jocher Architekten and NinnenthalSchaar Landschaftsarchitekten. Among other things, the design envisages 180 apartments, including 64 nursing homes, in several buildings around a triangular square. The new district library is also to be housed there. Completion is expected in 2027 or 2028.
