Up Campus Student Living has started construction on Blume on Ivy, a 231-unit, 641-bed luxury student housing development in Charlottesville, Va. The community serving the University of Virginia is set to open in the fall of 2027, before the academic year starts.
UK, Glasgow: Dandara and Gamuda team up for Glasgow student scheme

UK, London: Planning granted for RAC CHP’s Newham PBSA

RAC CHP has secured planning for a new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Newham, East London. Extensive pre-application engagement with Newham Council, the local community and other key stakeholders was carried out prior to approval. Located in the Royal Albert Dock, RAD CHP will now transform two buildings from office space to a 457-bedroom PBSA development, which will comprise 210 studios, 12 one-bedroom apartments, 140 two-bedroom en-suite cluster rooms and 95 multi-bedroom en-suite cluster rooms.
