US, College Park: New graduate student housing could help local economy

University of Maryland (UMD) graduate students will have a new housing option when the college’s planned Leonardtown apartments become available near downtown College Park in two years. The 465-unit building, which will be located on the site of the now-demolished Old Leonardtown apartments on the east side of Baltimore Avenue, will offer another housing option for some of the university’s more than 10,000 graduate students. The development is slated for completion in August 2026 and will create a new street, Graduate Way.

Ireland’s largest private landlord anticipates generating € 110-115 MLN in proceeds from the sale and plans to reinvest these funds according to its capital allocation strategy.
Romania: STC Partners to develop € 35 MLN residential complex in Bucharest

Romanian real estate developer STC Partners has acquired a 4,400 m2 plot of land in Bucharest, on which it plans to develop a residential complex. In addition to the € 7.2 MLN paid to the Olaru family for the land, the company plans to invest nearly € 35 MLN to build the Quartier Ferdinand residential complex on 72-78 Ferdinand Boulevard.
