The agreement includes the participation of Uliving, a company associated with VBI, which operates student housing in Brazil. Founded in 2012, Uliving is the pioneer company in this asset class and currently has 5 assets in operation.
Anima Education believes that with this innovation it will serve an increasingly growing audience of medical, freshmen and mobile students. This will strengthen the care and attention of Anima Education to the student community, addressing one of the main concerns of parents, and offering a complete university experience to students with new experiences and connections, which go far beyond the classroom.
The agreement, unprecedented in Brazil, will facilitate housing for more than 330,000 students from the educational institutions of Anima Education, connecting the campuses to Uliving residences, augmenting the student journey. The buildings will be dedicated to undergraduate, graduate, master's and doctoral students in addition to researchers and professors linked to the Anima Education ecosystem.
BONARD, a global advisory firm specialized in rented residential asset classes, with offices in Asia, Europe and Latin America, was the exclusive advisor to Anima Education in this transaction.
QUOTES:
According to the CEO and co-founder of Uliving, Juliano Antunes, the partnership goes far beyond offering a physical structure. "Our goal, since the beginning, was not only to offer an exclusive experience in an unexplored and not yet professionalized market, but also to promote the sense of community to young people in Brazil and around the world, stimulating the exchange of experiences in such an important phase of the student’s life – elements that help in the formation of the human being and the professional".
"This partnership is totally unprecedented and exclusive in Brazil, we are offering our students the possibility of having a complete and innovative university experience, which will provide connections and learning that go beyond the classroom. The proposal is totally in line with the company's DNA in enabling our students to be in contact with what exists as most modern and innovative services in the educational market, contributing to their integral development", points out Marcelo Bueno, CEO of Anima Education.
