Our management team is now responsible for 40 people, 160 clients, 468 deliveries and is working hard to keep BONARD the best destination for helping your needs and achieving your targets, as well as a great place to work.

Our management team is led by BONARD’s Founder and CEO Samuel Vetrak and the company’s COO Igor Skibickij. The rest of managers are department heads responsible for business development, sales, marketing, research, solutions and events.

Samuel Vetrak

Samuel Vetrak

CEO

Samuel has over 20 years’ experience advising governments, destinations, education providers or student housing investors. Since 2007, under his leadership, his staff of 50 researchers operating in four offices around the world have been providing the highest level of secondary and primary in-field data, making BONARD a leading provider of independent and reliable research and solutions.

Samuel is a frequent speaker, attending dozens of conferences a year and sharing latest insights backed by long-term industry experience. He is an Apple addict and a supporter of the New England Patriots.

Igor Skibickij

Igor Skibickij

COO

Before moving back to Europe, Igor managed the company’s China branch, based in Tianjin, China for 7 years. During his tenure, Igor quickly became an industry expert on China and Southeast Asia and has since been advising clients on the development of regional markets and marketing strategies.

He is now responsible for daily operations at BONARD and is also a regular speaker and presents actively at key industry events. Igor has been with the company for almost a decade, having acted as a regional manager on behalf of various clients. Igor has an MA in Political Science and speaks fluent English, German, and Russian, with limited proficiency in Mandarin.

Patrik Pavlacic

Patrik Pavlacic

Head of Research

As a proponent of practical application of data and intelligence, Patrik leads BONARD’s team of in-house and in-field researchers. Since joining the company in 2009, he has worked on developing industry-specific metrics and bespoke approaches to data collection and reporting challenges faced by organisations. He enjoys embarking on uncharted areas, often designing pioneering solutions for a plethora of client types.

Patrik is the author of more than 20 industry publications, where he focuses on global and regional trends in the international education industry. Patrik is a member of ESOMAR World Research.

Martin Varga

Head of Real Estate Business Development

Martin joined Bonard in 2020. He leads the company’s engagement in rented residential asset classes. His expertise and focus are within student housing, senior living, co-living and other rented resi sectors. During his tenure with Bonard, Martin assisted global investors, fund managers, developers and operators with data-driven expansion to new asset classes and territories, incl. CEE, as well as with in-depth analysis and assessment of strategies and opportunities in order to mitigate their investment risk, increase ROI and allow for more accurate decisions.

Julia Momotiuk

Julia Momotiuk

Head of Rented Residential

Julia joined BONARD in 2015. She leads the company’s alternative asset class division, while also holding an advisory role for the wider company operations. Her specialty lies within student housing and senior living, and she spearheaded the company’s expansion into both sectors.

In her tenure with BONARD, Julia co-created a range of asset class-specific data collection methods and set new reporting standards that allow investors, fund managers, developers and operators assess opportunities with an unprecedented level of granularity. In addition to providing insight on more than 130 cities around the globe, Julia also oversees bespoke research projects aimed at greater understanding of both sectors.

Stefan Kolibar

Head of Marketing, Communications & PR

Stefan joined Bonard in 2010 and later became Head of Marketing, Communications & PR. His main responsibility is brand awareness, strategic partnerships, lead generation, and content marketing. The company, under his supervision, successfully rebranded to Bonard in February 2019.

Stefan is also a speaker and panellist at various conferences on international education and student housing and is often quoted by industry media. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations and is a strong networker as he speaks English, French and Spanish. He considers himself to be a global citizen, an avid traveller, a news follower and a sports lover. He loves to hang out with his family and friends and supports Chelsea FC.

Lenka Kubasova

Lenka Kubasova

Business Solutions Head of Operations

Since joining the company and the Business Solutions department in 2017, Lenka has been involved in event management within the international education sector. She is now managing and overseeing daily operations at the Business Solutions department, working with her team on delivering successful data-driven and business-matchmaking events. Highly adaptable to new situations and challenges, Lenka has a passion for developing new products and organizing bespoke events for our clients.

Lenka has an MA with Honours in International Relations and Diplomacy and is currently focusing on perfectioning her skills in intercomprehension and the Romance languages. Lenka loves spending her time outside, taking part in adrenaline sports or practising yoga.

Grace Zhu

Grace Zhu

China Branch Manager

Grace joined the BONARD China team in 2015, since when she has been in charge of international education projects ranging from digital marketing, market research, intelligence, strategic advisory and agency recruitment to events organization. Currently, Grace is leading the China team on the development of China and other Asian destinations.

Several years’ industry experience have given Grace a profound understanding of local markets and strong relationships with local stakeholders, associations and institutions. Grace majored in Information Management and has a passion for movies and music.
